Cookie compliance check: what starts before the visitor says yes
We open your website in a real browser, without clicking anything, and record which cookies and tracking scripts start before consent. You get a free report with what we found and how to fix it.
Cookies and consent · GDPR / ePrivacyWhat we check
Cookies and trackers before consent
Analytics, advertising pixels and other third-party scripts that load before the visitor accepts. A banner cannot hide this: you see it in a browser, not by reading the code.
The cookie banner
Whether the first layer offers “Reject” as clearly as “Accept”, or only “Accept” and “Settings”.
Google Consent Mode v2
If you use Google Analytics or Google Ads: whether the four signals (ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are sent, and with which default values.
Automated technical check, not a legal assessment.
Why a banner is not enough
What matters is what runs before the click. A website can show a correct banner while analytics or advertising scripts already run in the background, without the owner knowing.
If you want, we fix it
- Tags and pixels blocked until the visitor consents
- Banner settings: “Reject” on the first layer, clear categories
- Google Consent Mode v2 with the correct default values
- A cookie policy that matches the cookies the website really sets
Price for the fixes: offer after the free report.
From a finished job
On an existing WordPress website with over 21,000 articles, cookies were set before consent. After our work none are set before the visitor’s choice, and the website looks the same as before.
Frequently asked questions
Is a cookie banner enough?
No. What matters is what loads before the click. A banner can be in place while analytics or advertising scripts already run in the background.
Do you need access to my website?
Not for the report: we check only the public pages, as a visitor would. We need access only if you want us to make the fixes.
Which websites can you check?
Any public website: WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix or custom-built. The check is done from the outside, so the platform does not matter.
Is this a legal opinion?
No. It is a technical check of what your website does in a browser. For legal questions about your situation, ask a lawyer or your data protection officer.
